After Cooler
MFE AFTER COOLERS MFE after coolers with moisture separator provide an ideal combination to remove troublesome moisture from your compressed air or gas. Successful installations of these after coolers provide conclusive proof of their effective performance in maintaining trouble free operations of air powered tools and equipment.
MFE after coolers has tubes effectively arranged to maximize heat transfer and reduce cooling water usage. Tubes are readily accessible for cleaning to maintain their high heat transfer efficiency and low pressure drop.
The matching inline moisture separator has been individually designed and sized for each after cooler to provide maximum efficiency in removing moisture over the entire operating range of the after cooler.
Features
- Shell : Standard ERW pipes or rolled from tested quality steel pipes.
- Tubes : Seamless copper 3/8 od tubes are roller expanded into tube sheets at both ends.
- Tube sheets : SA-285 Grade C or IS 226 or equivalent material.
- Water Baffles : Steel baffles placed to suit the design requirements. A zig-zag passage over the bank of tubes provide efficient heat transfer.
- Design Pressures : 7 kg/cm2 on shell side and 10 kg/cm2 on Tube side.
- Test Pressures : 10 kg/cm2 on shell side (Nitro test) and 15 kg/cm2 on tube side.
- Finish : All after coolers have a rust-preventive primer finish of red oxide paint.
